1961-1969: The Silver Age

The Fantastic Four debuted in November 1961, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. The team consisted of Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards),Invisible Woman (Sue Storm),Human Torch (Johnny Storm),and The Thing (Ben Grimm). The Fantastic Four were a family of scientists and explorers who gained superpowers after being exposed to cosmic rays.

The Fantastic Four quickly became one of Marvel's most popular titles. They were a relatable team of characters with different personalities and powers. They also had a strong sense of adventure and a willingness to fight for what was right.

1990-1999: The Dark Age
